What Is a Horizontal Tube Furnace?
A horizontal tube furnace is a thermal processing oven with a unique heating chamber. It contains a double-walled chamber that can withstand high temperatures for a number of different applications. Horizontal tube furnaces are used for brazing, annealing, sintering and tempering of various parts and materials. Our horizontal tube furnaces come with the following standards:
- Alumina Tube Sizes: 1.5″, 2.0″, 2.5″, 3.0″ and 3.5″
- SiC, Stainless or Quartz Tube Sizes: 1.5″, 2.0″, 2.5″, 3.0″, 3.5″, 4.0″, 6.0″ and 8.0″
- Standard Heating Zone Lengths: 6″, 12″, 18″, 24″ and 36″
Custom heating zone lengths on our horizontal tube furnaces are also available (up to 48″). Larger Tube ID’s are also available with multi-zone furnaces operated by independent controller systems.
